The linkage adjustment that I referred to is an easy external adjustment. To make an adjustment, it is necessary to (in effect) make the steel rod longer or shorter. The rod is threaded on each end and has lock nuts on each end. This rod is the one that joins the shift foot pedal to the trans. shaft.
